How do I replace the rear brake shoes?

I'm not able to get to the brakes. Is their some type of special tool I need to remove the rotors? If that's what needs to be removed to get to the brakes.

they are drums.

remove the center cap, cotter pin, undo the nut and remove the drum and hub together

channell log pliers or a big screw driver
