I am wondering if this is an after market or optioned item, as there is no mention of a block heater in Mitchell 1 data base, are you sure you have one fitted?

I have looked everywhere for an answer, but have found nothing. Are you sure the item was a factory option or has someone installed an aftermarket one?

I don't believe there is a factory installed block heater. If you are unable to find anything, I'm going to say there isn't one. I ordered Fords, Chryslers... for fleets from 1988 through 95 and never remember seeing it as an option on the taurus, and they were really popular company cars. I can't even begin to tell you how many I ordered.
