1994 ford ranger key sensor warning chime will not shut off

i had the same problem finally just found the box and cut the wire and left some to put it back together if needed

My info says there is a warning chime module behind center of dash, below ashtray?

the key buzzer switch in the steering column.this is part of the turn signal switch it contacts the key buzzer switch.if you disconnect the turn signal connecter and it stops its in the column.dont disconnect the chime.disconnect it at the signal switch connecter.you my need that chime for other things.
