1994 Ford Probe Clutch problems

Hello. Okay I bought this car in pieces put new clutch and pressure plate in it and many many more parts once we put the motor in it and connected everything it runs great only problem is if its running I cant shift replaced the master and slave cylinder and bled the system still have the same problem I have the front of car jacked up and I can only get it to go into first gear with difficulty and once in first the tires spin with the clutch to the floor I cant get it to go into any other gears I'm about to pull the transmission again but looking for any way to avoid that any advice?

Was the clutch disc put in backwards? It also may be a release bearing not installed correctly. See pic.

Hello thank u for your quick response and picture. Sorry it took so long had class I pulled the trans today clutch was in correct and bearings im not sure why the clutch wont free float any ideas? More info I didn't have the flywheel resurfaced and am I suppose to use any greas on the bearings or anywhere?

You should only put a small amount of grease on the input shaft where it goes into pilot bearing/bushing. Check for a bent release arm as that happens as well as bad bushings on shaft in trans. Also check where bolt goes through the shaft that its not worn or broken there

Ok I lightly greased the input shaft put the trans back in no prob bled the clutch again same problem it wont go in gear when its running I also tried to start it with it in gear it will run and I could move it if I wanted to but once its on even after I turn it back off it will not come out of gear except with a substantial amount of force im at a loss for what the problem is new clutch new pressure plate new pilot and throw out bearing new master and slave cylinder I don't know what to do

Unless it is air in system I can't see it so can be of no further help except give you bleed procedure for slave as that may be problem. When master was replaced it should have been bench bled prior to install. Lines should not be twisted either.

It could but if you can't shift it that is a sign of a bad clutch or problem if you cab shift gears with eng off its not trans
