I have a convertible. The rear glass defroster has stopped working. I am trying to find the correct name and number for the part. The switch is on the dashboard panel to the left of the steering wheel. it is a rectangle switch; long from left to right (about 1.5 inches) and very short from top to bottom(about .25 inch) . When I press it the light comes on but the back glass does not defrost. I have located a new rear glass with the defroster but I do not want to purchase it if replacing the switch will fix it. Problem is I cannot find the correct description or part number for the switch

U WILL NEED TO SEE IF U ARE GETTING POWER TO THE DEFEROSTER GRID. . USE TESTLIGHT OR A VOLT METER TO TEST.

Thanks.
Do you know the name by the which the switch is referred to? I have tried searching on Rear Window Defroster Switch with no luck.
Perhaps you could give me the name and or part number for this switch?
Thanks
