what can cause fuel not to enter fuel rails?

Check the fuel pressure if its within specs-start here

I get pressure to regulator just not to the fuel rail

No fuel at the check valve

Check the fuel pressure with a gauge and then comeback with the readings

no reading doesn't move at all

When I took regulator off it had lots of pressure behind it but stopped there. Could fuel rail be clogged?

What do you mean by this: no reading doesn't move-hook up a fuel pressure gauge to the fuel rail test port and turn key on-what's the reading

Zero no reading there no pressure

Needle didn't move with car on

no one can figure this out

Check the fuel pump seems to me its dead or its not turning on-

Fuel pump turns on I. Got fuel to regulator

Spray some carbuerator cleaner in the throttle body and see if it'll start up-if so injectors are not pulsing-

Yes it starts with starter fluid u can hear injectors cycling

when you installed the pump, did you make sure you installed the hoses correctly>>

pressure on the wrong side of the regulator would be caused by this.

does not make sense with no pressure at the port but at the regulator.

It was put in correctly by mechanic do u think rail is clogged

nope. if a tech did it, did you return to him to re check his work??
