Is there any available product in an additive that could help a leaking rear engine seal on a short term basis, in 5.8 litre engine in 1994 ford f-150 4x4?

Try trans fluid it may swell seal BUT nto much will stop or slow leak needs to be replaced. also if high milage worn main bearings will cause leak allowing crank play
