I recently replaced the front rotors on my 1994 explorer sport 2wd v6, by the book. Since then the passenger side front locks up just before coming to a complete stop, and there is a growling noise coming from the master cylinder. What would cause this and how do I fix it?

You're getting a false activation of the ABS system because the speed sensor is not reading accurately at low speeds and the computer thinks the brakes are locking up. I would suspect there is a problem with the tone ring on your new rotor. I would try a different one.

Similar to a gear and has tooth that is magnetized for the sensor to detect speed or rotation and report this info back to the ABS system.
