BOSS, I KNOW YOU HAVE GOOD INTENTIONS, BUT THIS IS A JOB FOR AN AUTOMOTIVE MACHINE SHOP

THE HEAD WILL HAVE TO BE REMOVED IN ORDER FOR THE PRECISION TASK TO BE MACHINED

MOST OF THE TIME A FULL TEST OF YOUR HEAD AND COMPLETE HEAD JOB, MIGHT RANGE FROM $60-UP TO BIG BUCKS DEPENDING ON HOW "HIGH SPEED" YOU WANT IT.

GENERALLY THE ONLY DO IT YOURSELFERS FOR THIS TASK ARE THE AUTO MACHINISTS THEMSELVES ---IT HAS TO BE ALMOST PERFECTION DURING THE PROCESS--SPECIAL MACHINES AND TOOLING

YOUR TURN

I can only confirm what the MEDIC has mentioned, valve guides must be installed using specialist equipment, mechanics do not do this work, it is the responsibility of the auto machinist, you can do valve stem seals your self, but not guides.
