Remove the wheel, hammar the broken stud from the hub, place the new stud in from the rear, place a flat washer, spray it with a lubericant, and place the lug nut on and tighten it in until it is fully in.

There isn't enough room between the hub and the heat shield (I think that is what it is) to tap out the broken stud. I've attached a shot of hub trying to show not enough room to tap out stud, can take another angel if needed

You should be able to bend the backing plate enough to remove the stud. Once the new one is installed, just straighten it the best you can. If you can't get it, remove the axle nut and the rotor should come off.

Let me know what you find.
