1.9 L engine auto. LOOSE connection on fuel? Line on end where it enters the fuel rail -pass. Side

I was able to tighten fitting by hand--will this work or will I have to replace fitting? Do the vibrate loose or just go bad? Should I check inline fuel filter don't know its history granny dummy

If you tightened it and it doesn't leak it should take care of it. Keep an eye on it and you may end up replacing the fitting. Replacing the fuel filter with no known history is always a good idea.

Thank you so much. I am 72 yrs old work on my own vehicle but have not ad anything newer than a 92 s 10 totally different animal than my cute little escort love the car has ass the options was cherry when I bought but it is my goodness 1`8 yrs old doesn't look it. Crossing fingers but have onine chilton manual through cincinnati library ver good reference but none of the fine points and possibilitie3ws
have kept pur synthetic oil in ca-had it a year and oil still very clean, tranny fluied nice and pink- doesnt use ony oil-- no leaks yetwill put that new filter on it. Weather here is ridiculously good for this time of year. Makes up for the spring we didnt have last year. Best of luck granny dummy
