I have a 1994 Ford crown victoria which I have bought. I have to change gears manually from a steel cable that hangs to the floor. The guy that sold it explained to me that he had it unhooked because he couldn't put the car in gear. He explained that the gear shift changer at the column would just move from park to any gear selecter you chose and the car would not be in gear. I would like to know what are the parts by name that I may need in order to assemble the entire system back to the gear shifter at the steering column?

the cable mounts to the bracket under the dash and the end goes on the shift tube
