when i start the car all the transmission loghts blink and it wont shift going down the road i changed the speed sensor what else could it be

The light blinking means that the transmission Control Module has sensed a malfunction and it stored a code number to identify it. You will need a professional scan tool, not just a code reader, to retrieve the code and that will give you a starting point.

i talked to a transmission specialist and he said its most likely the neutral saftey switch does that sound right?
