problems with my car

i have a 1994 dodge stealth RT, the check engine light came on. car was running rough and when idling was barely above 0,loss of power. can you give me an idea of what the problem may be?

First, if the check engine light is on, the computer is holding a code to identify where the problem is coming from. Most parts stores will scan them for free, so I recommend having that done. Also, a very low idle can be from a vacuum leak, idle air control motor (IAC)low fuel pressure... Start with the engine trouble code and let me know what you find.
