1994 Dodge Spirit Running rough

My 94 Spirit has been running really rough lately. The check engine light comes on after exactly 7.25 miles and when it first starts running trying to get her to accelerate is hard she likes to stutter almost like somethings plugged. I have a diagnostic tool but I can not find the plug in for it can you please help me fix my baby.

You can't find the plug because your car is OBD1 and that code reader will not work..

You should be able to get codes by cycling the key on/off 3 times ending on and the check engine light will flash codes.
