i have a 94 dodge shadow it tends to stall out while driving and it will sometimes it will star back up on its own and sometime it has to sit for awhile before it will crank what is wrong

When it wont start have you checked for spark etc?

check the distributor pick up. common failure in the old days for stalling out.
