What's the symptoms? Do you hear the starter relay click? What happens to the brightness of the head lights when you try to crank the engine? Is there a reason to suspect the battery was run down, or was charging it just something you tried? Do you have a test light or voltmeter to do some testing?

Sorry for the late hour. I'm just heading home to go to sleep. I'll be back later tonight to see your reply.

Stop throwing random parts at it. You're finding out that's the most expensive and least effective way to diagnose something.

Pull out the starter relay. That will provide access to the four terminals in the socket that correspond to the four parts of the system. Ground the clip lead of your test light to the battery negative post, then probe the four terminals in the socket. One will have 12 volts all the time. One will have 12 volts when a helper turn the ignition switch to "crank".

Now move the test light's ground clip to the battery's positive post. Probe the remaining two terminals. Both should read to ground making the test light light up. On one of those the light will go out when your helper shifts out of "park".

Determine which one of those four tests isn't working.
