My 1994 dodge ram 2500 stops intermittenly and after about an hour or two will restart

How long since a tune-up? Any applicable trouble codes? When the problem occurs, have a helper crank it while you check for spark at the plugs. If you have spark everywhere, use a gage and check fuel pressure. With intermittent issues, you have to test when problem is ongoing.
