My info shows oil change with filter--5 quarts. So change your oil and filter add 5 quarts. Give it a while for oil level to settle in crankcase. Whatever level it shows on the dip stick, should be the full mark. You might double check that five quarts. At the moment, I don't know a better way? You might check the salvage yards for a dip stick for your year--make--model?
