1994 Dodge Dakota Thumping noise

Spare tire is not on truck, every thing under the truck bed is secure. Universal joints? Low or bad fluid in rear end? Bad bearing? Bad rear end? Warped brake drum? There was some vibration at times when braking under my right foot then it stopped sound definitly from rear of truck right side or middle area. Switch my tires? I am no mechanic just shooting in the dark

Check for tire separation first then check for drum being out of round.

Problem resolved! All of the lug nuts on the driver side rear wheel were loose and a few on the rest of the rims as well. I had all the rims off to do the brakes and replace tires and am quite sure I tightened all of the lugs. However it I have been told by my elders since I was old enough to drive to ALWAYS RECHECK YOUR LUGS AFTER PULLING A RIM. Thankfully no injuries or damge has occured. Thank you for all of the advice and knowledge. I have gained alot through this Dakota episode.

Normally if you torque them with awrench they don't come loose either. No big deal you got it fixed.
