The original plastic piece broke that connects the wiper motor to the wiper arms, so I bought a hard rubber piece that came from advance that came in a package of assortments for wipers. Well I replaced it and im on my third piece now. They either break or it jus keeps popping off. I've tried sanding the little piece that comes out of the wiper motor to make it an easier turn but didn't work. A tack weld wont do it bc obviously its not metal. Im all out of ideas right now.

Once those arms pop off or are removed on purpose, you're supposed to replace that plastic piece but few of us actually do that. You might be better off getting the entire arm from a salvage yard. Go to one of the pick-your-own-parts yards and unbolt the metal arm off the wiper motor too so you can leave the plastic joint connected. The slotted hole in the arm has one rounded side so you can't put it on wrong.
