Diesel? do you have fuel at the injectors? back off an injector line and crank over check for fuel pulse, check for voltage at the glow plugs as well.

Check for a fuel cutoff solinoid on the pump, it should have one, check power and operation.

I checked for fuel cutoff solinoid. tried starting engine but i tried it so many times it wouldn't start now.

If the solinoid is ok and you still have no fuel, either the injection pump is faulty or there is a problem with the fuel supply to the pump.
