Brake lights

My brakes lights are staying on even after I take my foot off the brake peddle.

Crawl up under the steering wheel and look at the top of the brake pedal arm. Theres a brake light switch up there. 9 times out of 10 that's bad. Unplug it and see if the brake lights go out. If so there you go
