steam out the exshost

1994 chevy 250 4x4 6.5 turbo 120000 mile just started steaming out exshost, shop sed probly cracked head? i never over heated it, babyed this truck,never had no problems with it till now, sed 3,000 to fix?

If you have coolant losses issues, it is possible for a bad head gasket to cause it.

If the smoke is grey instead of white, it is oil that is burning and it could be due to bad valve seals or piston rings.

Either problem is not going to be cheap to resolve.
