1994 Chevy Silverado knocking noise from under the hood

when i put my truck in gear i hear a slight knocking noise coming from under the floor board, close to the drive line and transmission, it only happens right after putting it in gear and sitting there, once i drive it stops, sometimes when i slow down it

Check to see if the exh is touching the body somewhere. See if it does it in reverse to
