1994 chevy s10 4.3 engine light comes on after engine is warmed up and driven for a while come up with code 32 EGR valve. Replaced with new EGR valve still having the light and rough idle after light comes on what else could cause this ?

Recheck the EGR valve and passages for carbon-if okay test the wiring back to the computer for short/open circuit-

Having same problem with my '92 S10, 4.3. If carbon isn't the problem, you might have a vacume leak, or a vacume hose problem. Check to see if the vacume control solenoid (the part that connects to the EGR valve via a vacume tube) is working. At idle that part should have vacume coming from it. Otherwise you have a vacume leak....somewhere ! Happy hunting.....as I am .
