I have Chevy 1994 eng 454, trans 4l80e in motor home. 67.000 miles. Shifting into reverse it also goes into park. i can play with it and it will go into reverse. The auto park light comes on when i go out of neutral toward reverse,once i get it into reverse it will move.

Want to go into reverse and park at the time. cant find any thing wrong by looking.

Shifting into park and reverse is a bad thing. Why do you want to do this?

I read what was there to see. It said you were trying to shift into park and reverse, or that the transmission was shifting into park and reverse. It got cut off after "I can play with......"
