last year my car lost spark to #1and 4 cylinders. After spending over $200.00 on one new coil, an ignition module new plugs and wires, the problem remained. I then removed the engine control unit and checked the connection pins and found a tiny piece of lint with a speck of metal bridging two pins. After removing the object the car ran fine, until now... could the ecm have been damaged from bridging the pins? I don't know what else to think.
