I have recieved two different answers to this question. One was a diagram showing it under the dash in the convience center. The other was a diagram showing it under the hood on the fire wall. I know it must be one or the other but not both. Can someone please help?

There must be something disconnected or some other explanation for that. They never install extra relays.

Hello, 4.3 vin Z, my info shows, under the hood, firewall, driver side of brake booster. When in doubt about the relay, look at the wire colors at the connector, DK green/white, gray, orange, black/ white.

The info also shows an oil pressure switch in the fuel pump circuit. Once you crank it enough to bring up oil pressure and the switch closes, the pump should run, even without the relay. The info also shows a prime connector, about the middle of the firewall, gray wire with connector, if you use an inline fuse on a jumper and run B+ to the connector, the pump should run, you don't have to use the key.

1993 Chevy T10 4X4 4 door Blazer w/4.3L Vortec engine w/W code in vin #.

I parked the truck one day and it wouldn’t start the next day. I noticed that the fuel pump wasn’t making any sound when I turning on the ignition key. So I disconnected the wiring plug at the rear of the tank and connected 12 volts from another source (trailer hitch light plug) to the fuel pump. Still, there was no sound from the fuel pump. I then purchased a new after market fuel pump and tested to make sure it work and it was fine. After I placed the pump and reinstalled the pump, still didn’t work. Double checked the wires making sure they where all connected. Re-tested the old fuel pump on the battery and it still didn’t work. Now, I have to think it burned out the fuel relay. I tested the wire to the tank with my OHM meter and there is only 8.46 volt going to the fuel pump.

My question is can you help me where the fuel pump is located and if you have another suggestion that might help me with this problem would surely be appreciated.

Thank you’
Brian

Found fuel relay. Relay was under the hood attached to the firewall just above the power assist brake canister or master brake cylinder. They are two relays side by side the fuel relay is the out relay towards the driver's side fender. Ran a hot wire from the orange wire in the plug (orange should be hot all the time) to the gray wire and the fuel pump would kick on. Tested old relay and it wouldn't engage. Replaced relay everything is OK now.

Where is the fuel pump relay located? I looked on autozone. Com and it told me it was on the driver side mounted to the fender. I looked all over the drivers side fender and couldn't find anything that resembles a fuel pump relay.

Check between the drivers side and passenger side floorborads. It should be located behind a kick panel. If you have 4x4 its located just behind the kick panel where the 4x4 gear shifter is located. Thats where its at on mine.

I replaced my fuel pump less than 2 years ago, now it wants to pump n run when it wants.I hear the pump prime, but no gas is being sprayed into the throttle body, and before I change the pump(In the dang tank again) I was suguessed to change the fuel pump relay. Do you know where it is located exactly?I can't seem to find it under the hood. Thank you!

Okay, I attached the location of the relay for you below.

I also attached a diagram of the fuel pump for to view if the relay does not work.
