I have a 1994 chevy astro van and I have to pump it 20 times before it starts. After it is warmed up it still stalls in traffic and it takes 20 more pumps to restart it.
I HAVE CHANGED THE FUEL FILTER BUT I DID NOT NOTICE ANY CHANGE IN THE VAN AT ALL.

Check yoru fuel pressure and scan for codes. Clean the throttle plate on both sides with choke cleaner and all around it.

If this is a stock engine and hasn'tbeen changed then it IS fuel injected. If it's a carb motor then check for choke operation as it ' probably not working at all
