i have a 1994 chevy astro van and i have to pump it 20 times before it starts . after it is warmed up it still stalls in traffic and it takes 20 more pumps to restart it .

I HAVE CHANGED THE FUEL FILTER BUT I DID NOT NOTICE ANY CHANGE IN THE VAN AT ALL .

if this is a stock engine and hasn'tbeen changed then it IS fuel injected. if it's a carb motor then check for choke operation as it ' probably not working at all
