what does it mean when check ride control

Every once awhile the check ride control light comes on then turns off car drives good no problem

A fault with the road sensing suspension. Since it is a 94, often times the cause is a front height sensor, either right or left. Original equipment for 94 was a linear type of position sensor, it was updated to a rotary a few years later, and all replacements were retrofitted to the new style. If you press off and warmer on your climate will get the system to display codes. SO60 or SO61 would be what I would guess.
