1994 Buick Roadmaster brake warning lite illuminated while my foot was holding the brake pedal down, and the pedal went to the floor at the same time. What are the possible causes and remedies? Low mile [ 17,000 ] wagon.

There is a leak in the system or the MC is bad.

Check all wheels and the steel lines for leaks, look at rubber lines to calipers, wheel cylinders.

If it is leaking from the Master Cyl, what is the replacement part number, or is a common part?

Just go to local autoparts store for remanufactured replacement.

The MC usually does not leak, the seal inside goes bad and MC loses pressure.
