tranmission will not engage 2nd gear while in D.

The engine RPM red line after engine shifts from 1st to 2nd gear and transmission does not engage However if manually shifting from 1st to 2nd to 3rd transmission is fine. If I go into D transmission will not engage. CHECKED FLUID - its good.

valve body issue. you need a trans shop to verify and perform the repair. it is not a job for the amateur.
