Hi there guys, my 1994 Boneville's A/C went completely out. No fan, no air, nothing. We changed the fuse in the fuse box under the dash and nothing changed. Any input of how to proceed would be greatly appreciated. Again the A/C worked last night (it wasn't coOlling that great) Then this morning it did not work at all. Hubby checked it (directly to the battery) and says the motor DOES work when connected dirextly to the battery. BUT when turned on it does absolutely nothing, no air comes out at all. PLEASE HELP!

Is the AC the problem or the blower motor in the vehicle? Tell your husband to keep in mind if the freon is low, the compressor won't engage unless you run power directly to it as he did.

I told hubby what you said, he said if it was a matter of freon, the fan would work. There is no fan, nothing at all when you turn the switch from off to on, nothing at all happens, no air blows out nothing, I am going to tell him about the blower motor, what about a relay type fuse, under the hood, is there any type of relay type fuse that controls the A/C under the hood, because it seems there is no power at all going to the A/C, heater, fan etc.

PS, when he connects the A/C to the battery, everything works, the fan, the blower, etc, could that be the blower motor if it is getting power directly connected to the battery?
