1994 Bmw 325i M Having Fuel Venting Had Pump Regulator Replaced

I'm having a problem with the fuel venting. I had the fuel pump and regulator replaced. Sometimes the fuel reads full and sometimes it doesn't. One time i was filling up it will stop the pump and i know the gas is not full.

I am not sure the replacement of the fuel pump and the venting issue are related.
