gas pedal

I recently replaced an alternator on this vehicle and after replacing it the gas pedal does not work now. It will shift into gear and go back and forth will in gear. pleae help me and let me know what i need to do.

Has the throttle cable been disconnected? Did you take it loose during the alternator replacement? Also, does the gas pedal seem to be connected? The car might have traction control and it is possible it is intervening. Send the last 7 of the VIN so I can tell what the equipment level of the car is.

Thanks for the VIN. I dont see the traction control in this model. The previous questions are as yet responded to, please do so.
