We changed the brakes all around the car and now the odometer and trip reset stopped working. How can you fix this?

They are un related. You need to make sure that your speed cable is connected in the transmission and then make sure that the speed sensor is getting 12v and that it is also sending signal to the gauge cluster. There are generally 3 wires on the speed sensor one is ground, one is power and one is signal which bounces 0-5v. Grab a volt meter and check the wires.
