low compression on number 1 cylinder on 22 re engine after head gasket replacement

replaced head gasket on toyota pickup 22re engine now compression is low
on number 1 cylinder and a little low on number 2 can timing cam be off
a notch causing this

Oh yeah the timming off can do that recheck your timing.

You sure its not a blown headgasket-2 lows on adjacent cylinders points to that direction
