4 wheel drive stopped working.

i have a 1993 toyota truck 3.0 v6 with 4 wheel drive but it seems to not work, not sure why i pull it in to go in and it makes a clicking noise but does not engage, also does not show up on my dash as in 4x4

Check the linkage to the transfer case to make sure nothing has slipped and stopping you from fully engaging it. If that is good, make sure the actuator on the front axle is working.
