when i was driving my 80 series cruiser it stalled. when restarted it started to make a noise as if a hose had gone and then it sounded like a flat tyre briefly and then it went back to a sounding like a hose had gone again. on inspection i could not find any hoses leaking. i checked all water and oil levels and all ok. this noise goes away when in idle but comes back when the vehicle in motion.

Check the drive belts. One could have frayed causing the noise.
We are not able to help you locate source of noises and you have to do it yourself.
