If you wish to test the brake booster here are simple steps.
1. Turn engine OFF.
2. Pump the brake pedal a few times until it is hard.
3. Depress the brake pedal and hold.
4. Start engine.
If brake pedal softens and goes down when engine is started, the booster is working correctly.
