Is it left or right handed on the bolt? Anything special required to break the torque on the bolt or hold it to keep the crankshaft from turning while breaking the bolt free?

I kind of expected more for my five dollars than that. I was looking for a little more detail. I kind of expected I needed the puller, but was curious more along the lines of steps prior to that, since I am attempting to do this while installed on the car.

The bolt is normal threaded, meaning it comes off by turning it anti-clockwise.
Sometimes the bolt is stuck rather tight and a high torqued impact wrench would be required.
Dealers would use a special tool for holding the pulley.
