HOW DO I RESET AIR BAG LIGHT.

THE AIR BAG LIGHT JUST STAYS ON. THE CODES WERE PULLED IT JUST SHOWS CODE 26 SAYING THE AIR BAG IS OPEN.THE CLOCK SPRING IS FINE THE HORN WORKS AND ALL THE OTHER LIGHTS WORK PROPERLY. HOW CAN I RESET THE LIGHT WITHOUT SPENDING HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS. THE AIR BAG WAS NEVER DEPLOYED.

Hi when the light is on and there is a code you cannot reser the light until the prob is repaired. this is more then likely a sensor on the front of your car under the bumper on the front frame section the sensor will have yellow wires always remember to disconnect batt and never sit in front of the air bag after powering ignition on after service.remember air bag service is very dangerous and can cause serious injury or death ,only qualified technicians should ever attempt repairs on this system. thanks Billymac
