How do i remove the front drivers seat from a '93 Voyager?

My step dad went to sit in his van. In doing so he leaned just right and managed to break the back rest off the seat. How would he remove the entire seat to put in a new one?

Four nuts from under the van, but it might just have the backrest bolt sheared off.
