it tries to start but won't

I have a 93 plymouth colt i just replaced the timing belt and water pump and it tries to start but won't what else could be wrong. we have changed timing belt around 5 times and still nothing

Is the valve and ignition timing correct?

Double check all electrical connection and grounds.
