timing marks

Hello,

Here are the timing marks for the balance shaft and timing chain gears. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

I have a cutlass supreme SL 3.4L. what would the symptoms be if the timing belt was broken. when i try to start it the starter cranks up and the serpentine belt just turns faster then normal.

Those are definitely symptoms of failed timing belt / chain. Engine will not start and will turn over much faster than normal

how do you line up the crank and cam is it dot to dot or both straight up
