My car tripped a dtc 43 but the knock sensor is functioning normally. It is running very rough and has no power. but it is sporadic.
It doesnt do it all the time. It acts like it is misfiring, but no misfire codes are present. I checked the fuel filter, its clear, so now what?
Any ideas would be appreciated!!!

the connector is a common failure on the knock sensor.

check fuel pressure.

check cat for being clogged.

to early for missfire codes, only obd1.
