Good Morning,

Recently I bought a 1993 Nissan Sentra. While I was checking the fluid levels, I accidently spilled about 3 ozs of SAE 30 motor oil into the radiator spout (I was checking both oil dipstick level and coolant levels, so the radiator cap was removed).
My question is:
A) Is there any danger to the engine?
B) Is there any danger to the radiator?
C) Is there any danger to the water pump, rubber
hoses, or any other part of the car?
Since the mishap I have driven 10 miles with no overheating or any other problems.

No major failure in the near future. It would be a good time for a cooling system flush just for peace of mind and to start off with a normal maintenance schedule. Oil will rot rubber radiator and heater hoses from the inside. Over time they will become mushy and one will start to leak from the normal 15 pounds of pressure that build up in the cooling system.

Don't lose sleep over this, but don't ignore it either.
