mitshubishi wont start

i have a mitsubishi space wagon 1993 .first i had the light ''check engine'' on ,but now wont startup andt that light is on.what is the problem some sensors?

The light is an indication that ther is a set fault code in the ECU, you must first get a scan done, the unique code will be an indicator to what is wrong, get the code and re post.
