crankshaft front seal set how to change

how do i take cover off it feels like something is holding it back does the oil pan have to come off

You need to unbolt the front bolts on the oil pan. They are attached to the timing chain cover.

You sure you got all the bolts out-if so try prying it from the corner still won't budge-investigate the oil pan
